I love the creative scheduling.

game. The Browns game could make for some sort of interesting young QB talk, depending on how things pan out.

Fine by me. Less traveling during the preseason the better. I think this is one thing the NFL gets right is having teams that are geographically close play each other in the preseason.
I sort of mad

that there’s no game in Baltimore again but I usually end up spending a ton of money on a stupid preseason game when it’s here.
I think it's great we play the Browns 1st

everyone starving for football and primo draft choices to watch on both sides.
Great opening talent showcase at home...

True enough. But I'd say Jets game even more so, considering Giants have to share the building (and media, etc).

The Jets AGAIN!?!?!?!

how could they allow this!?!?

I see no pre-sea national TV games. Even ESPN avoided them. You people who keep thinking the Giants are getting national exposure especially Week 1 against Dallas are in the past. It won't surprise me to see only 3 prime time games and one of those will be the obligatory Thursday night game. Of course, there's always the flex if things look better.
I thought they tried to have all AFC teams. Where are the Steelers?

Why the Lions?

Because Gary Myers said we lost out on Patricia.
Should the D

send someone out to hit Landry low, in this meaningless game vs. Cleveland?

Seriously, I could give a crap less whether they are on national tv. Winning is all that matters.

I agree, I think the only annual match-up should be against the Jets. Plenty of other regional teams to choose from that would minimize travel without playing the same team every pre-season.

Lono knows someone that works for Fox broadcasting as higher up. Apparently the guy loves the Giants, so he always pushes them to be a nationally televised games in markets that don't have a team.

The league, but if teams want to play each other, the league lets them. Presumably the Giants and Pats choose to play every year, and the league is fine with that.

The Pats under Belichik are the perfect last preseason game opponent ... Their philosophy of using the game for deciding final cuts and perfecting the mechanics of the game plan and game day prep without excess testosterone and adrenaline is perfect to get ready for opening day ... I've felt TC and BB would get together and ask the other to call some plays and defenses to test their own teams ... The Jets game even without Ryan the Crazed seemed dangerously out for blood all too often ...

It's the same with Jets/Eagles. Both franchises want to minimize pre season travel and request to play each other every year.
