Toronto really needs to win Saturday. If they lose another Game 1 home opener, their fan base might collectively meltdown.
Warriors lucked out by playing the Spurs. The Wolves or Jazz would have been more formidable first round opponents.
Everything broke perfectly for the Warriors. I know they are great team but they have gotten so many breaks over the years. Their path is much easier than the Rockets.

They went from possibly having to face with the Thunder of the Jazz in round 1 to the depleted Spurs. And to top it off, they won't have to face either of those teams, or the Rockets, until the WCF. By then, Steph will be back.
and they have a bright future, but I dont think they matchup well against Cleveland. Theyre going to have Bogdonovic or Young guard lebron? And the Cavs are vulnerable in the paint but Indy doesn't have anyone to take advantage of that.

Not only that, but they also lucked out when the Trail Blazers beat the Jazz.
Assuming they emerge victorious from the first round, I'd much rather they face either NO or Portland than the Thunder or (particularly) the Jazz in round 2. And assuming the Jazz and Rockets both win their first round matchups, I think the Jazz will tire the Rockets out and make a potential NBA Championship matchup between Houston and the Warriors easier sledding.

Are you going to put money on that? You'd get a big return if you fully believe that.
