before backing out. Will be interesting to see if they jump back in.
Barkley @ 5 might have some legs after all.
+1. So a QB, or Barkley, the best player in the draft, are now possibilities for Denver @#2, as well as NYFG. Interesting.
Increasing trade possibilities.
Interesting.

Article says they are rolling with Booker though. I think they just released him because they don't need him or his cap hit.
That could be true or speculation. I know they think highly of Booker. Dallas tried to trade for him last season but the asking price was unreasonably high.
However, Booker is still a late 4th round pick who hasn't accomplished much as a pro. He would be a nice compliment to Barkley. He's a much stronger and decisive inside runner who could be used as a short yardage back.
RE: Ha ha, so much for the big trade where we also get Anderson Â

Possibly.. Going off of what I've heard about them I think they let the board fall where it may and stay @ 5. They like Rosen, but how much? With Keenum and Lynch I doubt they make a move up for what it will cost to get 2. I know they think they can get it back on track quickly. In my opinion, Barkley or Nelson make the most sense if that's true.
Was thinking the same thing

The draft is only about a week and a half away. Maybe they already know the answer.

Anderson to Patriots would be a nice move for him and them.

Why, because he went on IR in 2016? He doesn't get banged up that much.
He missed 9 games in 2016. Prior to that, he missed a game in 15 and a game in 14.
It isn't like he's chronically injured.

He was really impressive in 2014 - the last 2 years he's been solid but unspectacular.
He's best-served as a guy you pair with a quicker scatback and bang between the tackles 10-12 times a game.
Tough runner with a low center of gravity - not terribly explosive.
He'll find a role elsewhere.
