I would say this board is 65-35 on QB in the draft vs Barkley/Chubb. I want to ask this question.

If you were guaranteed to be a mediocre for the next 4 years with taking Barkley and having no QB, would you take that or would you take 12-15 solid years out of a QB Darnold/Rosen/Allen and opportunities to be competitive over the long term?

Of course under this scenario you take Barkley.

If you told me that we'd draft Barkley #2 overall, win the Superbowl,and then Barkley would retire after one year of football, guess what? I'd still draft Barkley. The goal is to win the Superbowl.
