Barkley at 1 or 2. They will take the QB, I don’t see the big gain for Cleveland to do this. I uunderstand the picks, but right now they could get their choice of QB and Barkley at 4 (potentially) by staying put.

Sy gave Hernandez a pretty low grade. I would think one of the other guards might be around at 22.

Then another Hog Mollie at 34 would make for an amazing 1-2-3 punch to start the draft. Come back later and kill it in Rd 3 and BBI will be going crazy.

See that deal happening. Cleveland is in a great position now and has a ton of picks. The Giants will wait until draft day to even truly think about trading and even then I don’t see them dropping to 12 and the gain for Cleveland doesn’t seem worth it. Unless the Bills really sweeten the pot somehow.

but I would absolutely love to move down only two spots and pick up a late first/early second rounder for it. That would be amazing. You get Barkley/Rosen/Chubb and another early pick? Wow.

There will no trades and the Giants stay at #2 and take Darnold, Barkley, or Chubb

This is what I think. And I’m mentally preparing for Bradley Chubb. If the Browns take Allen or Barkley at 1, I really hope we take Darnold.

Not saying this is going to happen but I can see some logic behind it as to benefiting all teams involved:

Cleveland goes from 1 to 2 (3000-2600=400 pts owed)
Cleveland goes from 4 to 12 (1800-1200=600 pts owed)
Cleveland total=1000pts owed

NY goes from 2 to 4 (2600-1800=800pts owed)
NY total=800pts owed

So NY goes to 4 and gets 22 (22=780pts pts)
And Cleveland goes to 2 and 12 and gets 53+ 56+ 65 ( 370+ 340+265 pts=975 pts) and 2019 1st rd pick


As for why this could work:

Giants don't mind because they weren't dead set at QB at the top of the draft but don't want to lose out on Barkley. So they get Barkley at 4 while getting another 1st rounder. Browns agree because Giants tell them they are taking Barkley at #2 anyways if they dont do the deal. Browns still get their top QB at 2 in Allen. Giants tell Browns if you take Barkley at #1 we trade pick to team that will take Allen (could very well be Bills).

Browns drop out of blue Chip territory with their second pick from 4 to 12 but get more than the points suggested by the draft value board with a very precious extra first rounder in 2019 that seals the deal.

Bills finally get their top QB (which they have been trying harder for than just about any other team to move up and subsequently are willing to give up the most to do it).

Crazy part is I don't think that would be their path, if they are going to trade down its likely for Barkely.

What may happen though is Elway could come knocking with some more picks to swap the 4 and 5 and we still end up getting Barkley after 2 trade-downs.

Would need to give up 2-3 of top 2 rd picks to go to #1.

We get stiffed at 12 unless we get a Cleveland and Bills 1st in '19.

and when the check comes and you split it up and then afterwards you find out you paid more than everybody else.
