80% of those 11 names were junk that really shouldn't have sniffed the job. I get not hiring Blatt if you don't think it fits. Mark Jackson is coming off a really ugly ending in golden state and he's been an untouchable around the league since. Not a single good thing has been said about his time there, and a lot of bad has.
But I don't think I've ever said this, but I'm quite happy and impressed how the Knicks FO handled this. They got a young, hungry coach while doing their due diligence during the hiring process.

that's an over simplification and you know it. The "rumors" we're Fiz wanted to run one kind of offense and it didn't feature Gasol thus the issues. I think Fizdale learned from that experience thus why he wants to go to Latvia to meet with KP. He knows he's his franchise player and he gets nowhere without him. That's a pretty good start.

Would get fired. He has to be the most miserable person in the world. He is probably so bitter that he never gets to break any stories and takes it out on Knicks. Don’t get me wrong, knicks have deserved plenty of criticism over the years, but this story was done without any research. I just googled grizzlies players thoughts on David Fizdale and the reports were all positive including Conley with some really strong words (nothing from Gasol). He is just annoying overall as a reporter.
