Other than his favorite pastime of being passive aggressive about being benched in 2004, he's moved on to complaining about losing the CBS job to Witten.
read the tweet it’s covered by an ad. Anyone care to write it out?
@kurt13warner
I remember the days growing up believing the BEST person for the job - not race, not gender, not age, not pedigree -led to gaining position... trying to figure out if it ever TRULY applied (thinking I was just a naive kid) but, if so, how did we get so backwards!?
the whole tweet? It’s partly cut off by an ad banner on my phone.

The most ironic thing about what he wrote is that each time he doesn't get the job or got traded or cut it was always someone else at fault. He feels the world revolves around him and his nutty wife
so don't take this as me being the internet white knight for the Warners.
But Kurt is very philanthropic and his wife has been to hell and back raising a disabled child (I remember reading during the Rams SB run that she's an ex-marine, who was forced to be honorably discharged when her ex-husband dropped their infant child on his head. the baby lived but was left brain damaged and blind).
I usually give people a pass for most other stuff knowing what they're dealing with something as hard as that must be.
Kurt later adopted the boy.
again, he's probably a douche, but I usually try not to judge people I don't know only based on the publicized comments.
The way it was written doesn't scream to me that he's talking about Â
Sounds to me that he's upset about something that has to do with more of a identity politics angle to the job qualification. Witten is a white male in America. Are white male cowboys a protected group now? I must have missed the memo.

Must be nice to grow up in a world like that.. even if it’s not true...
But I don’t read that Tweet as being about Witten. Doesn’t really make any sense in that context. As an aside, I think KW and his wife are living their faith. Warner’s takes on Eli have always seemed really wrong to me, but that’s got nothing to do with his faith or his charitable works. Don’t know him personally but seems like a good guy. Kind of like the Ned Flanders of the NFL.
Why is he bringing race and gender into this? They're both white men and only separated by 10 years in age. Witten is simply more popular at this moment because he played more recently and was as Cowboy. He's also better looking than Warner (no homo). This is television and it's a business, it's all about money and nothing else, get the fuck over it.
some time to calm down and pull themselves together - passionate emails, tweets, texts, calls often times are regretted.
I will give Kurt credit, all those years ago at Giants camp he signed autographs for almost everyone, when most of the other players ran off the field, I'm talking to you Tiki and Michael and the rest of the crew.
Ike Hilliard and Kurt - great to the fans, give the guy a little bit of break.

I'm with you. Makes no sense if that's about Witten seeing as they are both white men...

The only way it makes any sense, if its regarding Whitten replacing him, is if he was told that they wanted to keep the ratio of black guys vs white guys the same, so to bring on Whitten on he (or some other white guy) had to go. I'm not saying its right or wrong, I'm just spitballing based on the above guess its Whitten and his tweet. I hate him anyway, and I think he sucks.
Aha, but that's just the wrinkle nobody wanted you to know Â
Yeah, I don’t get that either. Is he really arguing age discrimination? That’s the only option other than maybe pedigree (although Witten is a likely HOFer), and pretty weak.
but is pointing out politics and what folks do when money is involved. fairness is an illusion including control, as are the glowing things your government and daddy told you.
Or something.
Kurt has pretty much always been unlikable to me.

But then he’d have to think of the other person’s perspective!
Witten on Monday Night Football

Actually, he's quite representative.

Anything - go home KW - you are no longer relevant

See the 7:12 post from yesterday in this thread.

add in that he's a hypocrite. Mr. Pious Christian. I guess he never studied "Thy shall not covet thy neighbors goods"
