This game never disappoints. Today was no exceptions. Barca keeps their unbeaten streak alive by drawing 2-2 with Real.
But Barca dodged a bullet being down a man, when Roberto got tossed, and somehow averted a penalty when Abba clearly took down Marcelo. And, the Messi goal should never have occurred because Suárez clearly fouled Veranes in that build up.
Really too bad Renaldo hurt his ankle and Roberto got the red card. Took a little away from the game...
Godspeed to the great Iniesta. What a virtuoso of the game.
Was thinking was subbed in part to avert aggravating an injury in advance of Kiev Finals?
(My doh, a couple of weeks ago calling Copa del Rey El C!)
Well, he may need to win the Champions League to keep his job...
He's just a soccer playing savant. A total genius.
Watching him play the game is one of the great pleasures as a sports fan.

crystallized his greatness. All he needed was a sliver - and he didn't even look at the goal and Bang! Done. Amazing.

I had the pleasure of seeing Messi in person at Sevilla. The home team went up 1-0 but in the second half Messi took over and it ended 3-1 Barca as I recall. The whole second half revolved around Messi. Ironically, the only other player I've seen live who had the game revolve around him like that was Zidane, who I saw in Barcelona at Espanyol's ground and - same deal. The home team was up 1-0 or 2-1 at the half and then Madrid just put them away, I think it ended 4-2. The game revolved around Zidane in a different way than it does with Messi, but still great to watch in person when you can see the whole field.
Both amazing players.

That's awesome.
Watching Xavi and Iniesta played midfield has been pretty special as well.
Going to watch a Barca game and a Liverpool game at Anfield are on my bucket list of sports events to attend.

Pavel Nedved was very similar in terms of complete vision and control of the game.
