He still may turn it around but if Frazier continues to hit in AAA he may force the Yankees' hand. But I honestly don't see the Yanks giving up on Gardy this year. He's gonna get a long time to sort himself out.
He hasn't been nearly as sharp as he was against Houston, but that just shows how good he is now when he only allows 1 run, 11 Ks and 0 BB without his best command
RE: Maybe they do give Gardner a long time yet to right the ship Â
At the beginning of his wind up he takes this small quirky step forward. I thought once you go forward toward the plate you have to finish the process and can't go back. Am I missing something???
RE: How does Pomeranz not get called for a balk?? Â

Noticed that too. So weird
RE: Most of the lineup has been struggling over the last week. Â
It's only Torres that's been hitting well. Judge, Didi, Sanchez, Andujar have especially struggled.
It’s fair to assign part of it to facing mostly very good pitchers vs Houston and Cleveland IMO...but all the guys you mentioned have been fouling off meatball fastballs they should be crushing tonight

Amazingly frustrating game so far. They should be killing the Red Sox this game. Instead it's tied and they're a hit or yet another Sanchez passed ball away from losing the lead.
If the Yankees want to become a championship team this year Â
they have to sure up their defense. That's three outs tonight they should've made but didn't. Sanchez passes ball, Austin missed scoop, and Torres dropping the tag that would've been out #3.
If a WP, yes that is earned. If a PB (error) not an earned run.
Yeah. He's tossed a lot of garbage pitched right down the middle that have been fouled off.
Yeah this has the feel of a really aggravating loss, even though Sevy still looking strong with a 2-1 lead
They've been iffy few a week or so..Once Didi and Andujar cooled off, the production has been down.

If he gets out of 6 with around 100, he will stay, I think.

Agreed. I don’t know why this hasn’t already happened.

I think the issue is not having another guy in the lineup who you can put at the top. Who do you bat first, Judge?
Now 3 strikes///
