A lot of Cowboys, Redskins and Eagles fans were clamoring for Hernandez and Hill.
BJ Hill was just ragdolling

Guy with his bullrush. Seems like a powerful dude.
Hill and Hernandez

Looked good. Justin Jones (The other gangsta in red) looked good as well, I believe he was drafted by the Chargers. In the next segment Isiah Wynn was putting on a clinic.
Here is the one with just Will Hernandez

And Lauletta was the MVP of the game

So next year, we should all be paying special attention to the practices and game

Was the only center to dominate at sr. Bowl practices as well. I was stoked we drafted him just based on those practices....injuries reall did him in
Flowers Hugs a lot too
Angus : 5/9/2018 5:29 pm : link
Hope Hernandez can keep the hugging to a minimum.
I watched all of the senior bowl game and practices

Anybody who watched knew of BJ Hill and Will Hernandez long before the draft. These two were easily the two biggest standouts on their respective sides of the line of scrimmage. BJ Hill was abusing everybody and looked SOOO powerful. Hernandez absolutely mailed everyone he went up against, every time. Glad they are now Giants.
Anyone with concerns about Hernandez

Bull.

I like the guy and loved the pick but that doesn't mean I don't have concerns because I do. Mostly about how he handles the quickness of the D tackles he'll see on the pro level.

I remember a story Jimmy Johnson told after going 1-15 and being abused by the bigger stronger Giants Oline. He said something to the effect of him knowing they didn't have the size to compete with that and figured the best way to beat size was with quickness and drafted with that in mind.

That's where I'm concerned with Hernandez. It doesn't mean he'll fail or won't be able to handle the speed, just that I'm concerned if he'll be able to. Nothing more and certainly no axe to grind.

Well he was drafted in the second round, we are not talking about a top 10 guy here, every prospect has “concerns”. No biggie. Now Saquon, if anyone has concerns with Saquon....
B.J. Hill looks very quick for a big guy ....

Happy with picks 1, 2, and 3 (so far).

Can't wait for the season to start ... : )

at his size hit pulled a spin move out of his back pocket at 14:43. WOW
The issue w the Sr. Bowl is kids who’s tape

Didn’t match the performance and teams over react. Best/worst example would be Sinorice Moss who was very average at UM but wowed EA and his soon to be replacement Reese. So much the traded up for him. Even worse that the Jernigan pick.

Both Hill and Hernadez solidified what was thought about them.

Good Post. Hernandez is quick enough. He’s fairly light on his feet for a big dude. He needs some hand placement work, but plays over his base. He’s a nice prospect that isn’t perfect, but has a lot to work with. Love for the game and passion, character we’ve lacked in that position group.

Sy didn’t give him that high of a grade compared to other interior lineman that were available. I don’t know if anyone is really gonna have an ace to grind with the pick, but I could see people having perferred other lineman. I liked his life story on NFLN or ESPN (not sure which) kind of gave me a soft spot for the guy. I was happy with him.

Says the guy who claims that the RB who led college football in yards after contact in 2016 can't break tackles.

He has learned at least one more pass rushing move than JPP.
I'm gonna wait and see.

I'm ALWAYS gonna wait and see.

John Hicks looked great at first, then fell of a cliff. Amani Toomer looked like a bust, then became the greatest receiver the Giants had ever had. JPP looked like a Hall of Famer, then looked like a nice solid starter, nothing special. Hakeem Nicks was a star and then his career collapsed. Richie Seubert and Victor Cruz came from nowhere. We can all go on and on with these guys. At this time of year, the rookies all have huge upside, no downside.

When they get on the field, the fog of dreams we have for them disperses and we begin to see who they are. And even then, who they are now isn't who they'll be in a year or two, one way or another.
