Shreve pitched the last two nights.
Aside from Gleyber, Judge, and Stanton, nobody's been hitting with any regularity.
Go away. You only show up to post negative bullshit. Never around when things are going well. We don’t want you here.

Last 7 games, great sample size.

Maybe not, but it's an indicator.
Thought Pillar was in there at third. Tough break.

So is breathing.
Knew that. Since the Astros series the entire team has stopped hitting.
yea gray is HORRIBLE.
make a move for a pitcher and a shake up of lineup is needed...slide down DIDI 0-28 ouch.
Oh well. There is always something interesting on the internet...

Jeezus, will you guys just listen to yourselves? Wtf is wrong with you? Blow the team up! We must make trades! Shake the order up! Make changes, damn it!
All this after winning 17 of 18 games. Just think about that for a minute.
Fucking Red Sox fan troll. Go away.

winning cures alot but this team has struggled to hit and score early for a while now....
dropping didi isnt earth shattering the guy is 0-28....
needing a pitcher for top end of rotation is something i have been saying since beginning...this isnt "blow it up" "make changes stuff" its pretty common sense moves that should happen
In the end, it's on these guys to start hitting. Hopefully we'll get some soft pitching opponents in the next couple weeks.

you want softer than a 9 era?!?! we should have destroyed this starter tonight...i agree we will get some more favorable mathcups but this was really a shit show of a game for us. bullpen was horrible and we literally couldnt do shit for 6 innings....this isnt the first time either there were several games during the big run that we were like hiutless through 4.
we struggle to get to pitchers early

a drastic shakeup isn't necessary. One or two changes maybe. I still think moving Gleyber up in the order would help. Maybe give Didi a couple games off to work out his problems, and have Toe play short.

Yeah, you got me there......no way should this team have NOT blasted Graveman.

So exactly what top of the rotation pitcher are you trading for and who are you trading for them? A couple of low level minor leaguers for an ace? You realize a top of the rotation guy is costing you Gleyber Torres, right? And a shit ton more on top of that? Or do you think that the Mets will give up deGrom for a bunch of mid level prospects? Don’t answer that, I’m sure that’s exactly what you think....

well since youre a baseball GM, ill defer to you.
torres wont be traded....you can def get a fulmer or archer for a pair of prospects...
you act like a deal cannot happen lol.
besides the point, we didnt hit a DOGSHIT pitcher tonight....i dont panic, but to say ahh we won 17 of 18 who cares...ya and just as easily, we could have lost a bunch of those games. just an easy, we can go on another 9-9 run. the yanks are a VERY good team. imo, they add a top end of rotation guy and start getting to pitchers earlier in the game, they are going to be VERY tough to beat.
nobody is panicking, its ONE game, but lets not act like dropping didi a little or moving torres up a little is a omg panic move...its not
Ok, I’m done here. Not worth it. Good night
frazier/adams or sheff? thats not a "comical" offer at all...you can continue to believe what you believe but the yanks have some good prospects that they should move to improve the top end of the rotation.
this bored is fucking AIDs sometimes, we cant just have a conversation? always a fucking argument as if youre fucking baseball almanac. take a hike dude
yea ultimately i dont wanna trade him, but SP is a much bigger need, in fact its a hole IMO. gray cant be trusted and tanaka is hot and cold....
Quote:
Sorry, misquoted you. But yeah, a pair of prospects for Fulmer or Archer is absolutely comical.

how is it moronic to say we need a SP? lol
how is it moronic to say we havent been getting to pitchers early in games?
how is it moronic to say the bullpen was shaky?
how is it moronic to say gray is horrible?
how is it moronic to say didi should slide down a little in lineuip and torres up?
NONE of that is moronic, in fact a lot of it is common sense based on factual information

Thats not rlwhat I was referring to.
Good night meatball.
Hicks is a 4th OFer, and a great one , switch hits, plays all 3 OF positions , great defense and speed. He's not a starter. Last season he was probly on roids.. or he just got hot.
Didi is not the superstar he was in April. He's still a star, but superstar talk is definitely on hold and put to bed for now.
Andujar needs to go to AAA, he is using Starlin Castro bats, first of all, design him his own bat w/o Castros name on it. Andujar is looking very very Similar to Castro at the plate, and I KNOW he's better then Castro and will be, but we can't ignore his bad habits at the plate. If he was a Vlad Guerrero and able to hit those balls out its one thing, but his habits at the plate need to change long term otherwise he's another Starlin Castro, maybe with a better winning attitude
And to be honest, I'm ready for Drury to come back, Andujar can get his own bats made and learn to take a few pitches.
Austin after his AB last night makes me question if Boone even employs a take sign for these guys ? 6 straight balls, 2-0 and he swings at a trash inside changeup 6 inches above the dirt? Okay.
Sorry just angry and spoiled I guess
Ops under 500 in over 120 ABs
Wishing these kids the best
Me the obsession. Good fielder that’s it and Clint Frazier should take his job immediately when he is ready to come up. Hicks is like 6 for 32 in the month of May with no RBIs and guy brings absolutely nothing to the offense never in the middle of any rally they have either.
Once Didi gets going again move him back to cleanup.
