Older kid (26), late convert to baseball (was a golfer), very solid athlete, ALWAYS injured, has put on significant bulk over the past 1+ seasons so the low power profile may not still be accurate. Likely more of an extra player but could be on the radar as a late blooming 2b type.

Mentioned this before: Seems Mets are going to have to ultimately choose between him and Dom Smith. Seems organization is not as high on Smith as before but there's still belief he'll be a good player.

I still think Adrian Gonzalez is going to be gone by the All-Star Game. I'd be happier to see Smith or even Alonso take the first base job than to see Bruce there. Gonzalez was never going to be more than a stopgap, and he was a big roll of the dice even as that. I hope he finds his old for, but if he doesn't, I don't see any reason to hold on to him.
