They've signed G Chris Scott, CB Chris Lewis-Harris (as previously reported), G Malcolm Bunche, WR Alonzo Russell, DT Mike Jones and former Rutgers RB Robert Martin.
IMHO never had the quickness needed for the NFL.
Probably the best he can hope for with the Giants is the practice squad, though he might impress in fall camp and wind up on somebody else's roster. But he certainly has experience running behind overmatched OLs.

The Giants needed more bodies there and the reports on him from this weekend were encouraging.

I wouldn't rule him out yet. The Giants will likely keep 4 tailbacks and right now Jalen Simmons is 4th on the depth chart. This spot might be addressed by a waiver claim after teams get down to 53 but Martin could earn the spot with a good training camp/preseason.

Must really not be that impressive.

+1.
Even I was that watching UPitt games.
The upside: at least Reese didn't pick him in the second or third, where we needed OL picked in at least 1 of those 2 rounds.
He can catch the ball a little too.

Martin
Sanchez was also a groomsman at Sterling Shepard's wedding
Don't fall in love with, or hate, anyone they bring in.
I wouldn't sleep on Martin either. I was glad to see they signed him.
Maybe 2 new starting DBs and all new starting LBs.
I'm more surprised by Dixon. I thought he had enough good moments last year to at least come to camp.
Yes, I do, and yes, it sure is.

got beat out by Malcolm Bunche. Remember the great report Bisno got from a scout here. Drafting is a crapshoot

No but he did move up in the 6th round to draft him and blew a 7th rounder.
New York Giants Roster Moves Add Six Players, Cut Six Players - ( New Window )
It is very alarming that going into training camp, Reese's backup plan at RT was Bisnowaty.
under the old regime this guy would have been given longer....not any more....I think I like it
Think about this......since we drafted Eli, 14 years ago, we have only drafted 2 OLmen that we have re-signed.....Snee and Beatty, and Beatty just happened to be in the right place at the right time....
RB ROBERT MARTIN (5-11, 210):
Bench: 19. (10th)
Vertical jump: 32.
Broad jump: 9-6.
40: 4.66.
3-cone: 7.02. (8th)
20 shuttle: 4.07. (T-1st)
60 shuttle: 11.30. (2nd)

did Reese suck at drafting offensive lineman. I mean I know Bisno was a 6th round pick, but he couldnt make last years initial roster even though we had crap to choose from and he couldnt beat out a bunch of UDFAs this year. I still cant believe how much cash was laid out by Arizona and SF for Pugh and Richburg. They will regret those contracts soon enough.

Almost as alarming as his Plan A being Bobby Hart

Jerry's kids!
Lets hope Dave doesn't start doing the same thing with his!
I guess not to those who count.
oh man I forgot that footnote. Good pick!

Why? He was a sixth round draft pick. The expectation is that those players are projects.
Goes to show how difficult scouting really is, especially down in the 5th/6th/7th/UDFA scrum. So many variables to contend with.
I wouldn't be surprised if he ends up on and off the roster a few more times.
