KWALL or any other Rutgers football fan.
One of the hottest names in college coaching this post season was Cory Robinson, the defensive back coach for Temple.
Cory had been at Maryland and Toledo before joining Temple.
This past season, Robinson developed 3 defensive backs at Temple with a legitimate shot at the NFL.
As it turns out, all three (Sean Chandler, Mike Jones, and Artrel Foster) were at the Giants rookie camp this weekend.
Chandler was signed by the Giants as a priority UDFA and today we heard that the Giants also gave a contract to Mike Jones after his tryout.
The college team that ended up signing Cory Robinson as a coach- Rutgers.
A great signing by Chris Ash. Remember the name Cory Robinson.

He's from Rutgers. He's amazing. Brian Leonard reincarnated.
I'm just messing with you KWALL.
He will be an excellent 4th back. Should make the club
Flood rightfully got fired and Ash brought in Drew Merhinger who was waaaay to young And inexperienced . He tried to install a power spread with almost none of the right personnel. Martin battled injuries along with a bad OL and that bad fit. This last year he still had some injury issues along w no QB and had some flashes.
Imo he has more than enough talent to be an NFL back. Maybe not lighting fast but quick and good vision. I also think he can return kicks. Solid and smart FA pick up. I think he can make the roster or at worst a very good PS guy
To me his most impressive trait is a decisive lateral step just before moving upfield. He has great vision and quickness.
he left maryland after they named aazaar abdul-rahim the on field db coach
i doubt he will be at rutgers long

Agree. Didn’t want to say it as it’s a bit early and I’m just not sure but I think he can be Bradshaw like for us. Be a great story. Especially for Rutgers recruiting he makes it too
Eric....about Martin. He’s got very good 1 and 2 step quickness and explosion. But once through the hole the opening closes fast around him. He can get tacklers off balance with it and run through the arm tackle. It could make him a serviceable inside runner in the NFL. But he’s limited which is why his PT at Rutgers was cut after a good year 1 and 2. I wish him the best. Hope he can help NYG but I’d call him a very long longshot.
I wanted the starting Rutgers RB Gus Edwards as a FA. He’s a much bigger guy with speed.

Thanks! He's not a big guy and his 40 time is all over the place.
A stint coaching at Calvert Hall won't hurt in that regard.

I agree with your description, but see a slightly better shot of making the team as the #4 RB or, more likely, the PS.
