With giants.com closing, BBWC basically defunct - it seems like Eric has almost monopolized the place to talk Giants football and he deserves some credit for that!

I was part of another board, but the owner of the board was just a flatout asshole and pretty dumb when it came to football. I know some others here were there and left.

One week, my posting was deleted. No warning, no message to me, nothing. I had no idea at the time why it was deleted.
The website had no way of contacting any administrator/manager/official moderator that I could find. I messaged a random moderator and got no response.
The next time I posted, the next day I was banned permanently. No warning, no explanation, nothing.
I ended up finding an email for someone have to do with the message board and had the members of the group send emails. They probably got about 10 emails, not exactly an avalanche, but it was enough. My login was restored. Their explanation is that they assumed that I owned the bar, even though I wrote in every single post that I don't own the bar and they never bothered to just ask me.
For the most part, I don't go anywhere for sports except BBI.

I only visit those when I want to read about the Giants but this site is slow. Giants.com is poor quality though and BBC greys very little traffic and tends to be pretty negative. BBI is by far the best.

I know some people don't like that we have limits here on what we can talk about, and that place has some good people there, but it's too toxic with the political talk. If you are on a certain side of the aisle you are the enemy, and the insults and flame wars that ensue...well, I don't even have the time or inclination any more...and I don't understand how all these years later they do as well. More than a few good posters have been chased from there because it's just too incendiary and childish.
Be thankful that this board has it's limits. There are a lot of places on the internet to satisfy your political/religious conversational needs.
Are we talking about a sport's board or congress?

Actually, I visit Facebook every once in a while. I moved to the west coast and most of my friends and family live back east. It is just easier to stay in touch that way and keep up to date on what everyone is up to - to much information?
But, BBI by far takes up most of my time online.
