what your question is. It is all a matter of personal preference whether you want color or black & gray.

Find a really good and well respected artist, pay well and they will work with you to design what you want.
My 2 cents.

Personally, I hate the trend toward more and bigger tattoos. Large, ugly tattoos on otherwise beautiful women has got to be one of the worst things ever (I know I sound like a “Get off my lawn” old guy).

We can make them see how the other half lives: hire JR and Ross or we expose the photos,(there has to be something in their closet they want hidden).

people think. A lot of people think that tattoos are stupid and/or ugly.

Suggestion: get a temporary (wash off) tat and see if you like it after a week or two. You can then change the color, size or placement to your preference, or drop the idea entirely.

ask the question means you are not 100% sure about what you want. You should hold off until you are.

I have a tattoo that I'm glad I got, but I was certain when I did. I sat on the idea for sometime.

It will be there the rest of your life. Make sure it's what you want

two small ankle tattoos that I love and consider them jewelry that I can't take off. Like another poster suggested, I did get a henna tattoo first to see if I liked it enough to get a permanent one and I did. One thing you do need to be careful about is red ink. Some people are allergic to red ink so if you're considering red, get tested first. I agree with another poster that black/shading is the better way to go. I did have some white highlighting on one of my tattoos and it is no longer visible (I've had the tattoo about 10 years). I was over 30 when I got my first tattoo. Love them and will likely get another at some point but I am not a big/sleeve tattoo person. I go small and subtle. Also, I LOVE Tattoo Goo - it's a great product and also good for chapped lips, small cuts, etc. and is all natural. It helped my tattoos heal really well.

who has a half sleeve....I'm a big proponent of "traditional" style tattoos which would be bold black, red, yellow, green, and blue colors, but the black can also be shaded so it looks like gray ish. This style tends to hold up better over time.
I'd save yourself..
