Nothing to serious Just a curious question for fans who have been going to Philly home games since Met Life opened, I went to 2013 and 2016. When I went to the game in 2013 there were hardly any, literally you had to go walk around and look for them. 2016, meh. A bunch but not way too out of control. We all know the stories about last year and how they came in the bus loads, the Eagle game was actually the only game I missed.
Just curious to those who went to Eagles @ Giants, 2012, 2014, 2015 finales what were there turn out? All of those games were meaningless for them, so I was just curious if Philly fans decided to bother to make the trip as they did for those Bradford , Vick Sanchez games. What about 2011?
Yes, asking for a "split".
True story, from 2011.
Eagles' fan and his g/f sat right in front of us, but before sitting down - and I'm sure they were booed but not horribly - he proceeded to turn around and give the finger using each hand to everyone. With a smile.
Probably the smallest Crowd of Giants fans I have ever witnessed..that it seemed we were out numbered. Very sad
Hopefully the Giants have a competitive team this year so that the stadium isn't completely taken over like last year.
When Philly is good they travel much better than when not.
I have noticed this for the Flyers at MSG.
Given the Iggles just won the Super Bowl, I expect them to have a lot next season unless we are doing great.
Based on my viewing, it seems the Redskin have very few.
Well that was my point really. The Eagle game was the only home game I didn't go to last year and I heard (and Eli said) how many Eagle fans there were. Now, that's why I was curious for their turn outs for 2012, 2014 and 2015. I did go to 2013 game and that was the least away fans I've ever seen in MetLife.
It was easy to tell how many away fans there were at the end of the games because the Giants kept getting blown out or the game was out of reach. Nothing more pathetic than having Lions, Rams and Seahawks fans "take over" at the end.
Cowboys? There were so many of them left last year that it looked as if it were just a normal home crowd. That 2017 Giants team was pathetic.
