Bird has benn called up, Austin has had 7 strikeouts in 9 at bats. It is hard when not getting to play alot( this is his 3rd game since Bird has returned) However, he is not helping his case to stay on the major league roster. Most thought he would be sent down when Bird was called up. Surprisingly they sent down Toe.
Estrada tonight, Yankee offense has been lifeless since the 4th inning of the first game yesterday, Estrada hasn’t won a game since April 20th and that was against yours truly not to mention he is winless at home this year Give CC some dam runs.
Seriously? Is there some Gardy ass cam angle we didn't see?
You must've missed the one they were showing just as the umps in the split screen overturned the call on the field. He was clearly out.
Thry showed that angle twice. First and last. Your telling me for sure when the glove touches him? Its a blur at best.
The one view from 3rd base you couldn't tell if the tag attempt made contact but the one angle that was looking from 1st base towards 2nd clearly showed he was tagged around the ribs/hip area and before Gardy touched second with his hand. No question in my mind it was conclusive from that angle.
That said, way to go Miggy! Absolutely crushed it.
I think we've seen the last of Austin for a while. I thought maybe they kept him up instead of Toe in order to showcase him but if they did, it backfired. I expect to see Toe back up any day.
I was wondering why he was the DH vs a righty and not Walker. Makes sense if he's lit him up in the past and maybe it gets him out of his slump.
horrible

Nah he game them everything they could've asked for and then some tonight. Seven strong is an A+ performance.
