This little gem comes from KWALL jr. 11 year old draftnik. Although he's a Steeler fan he threw out this line on the way to school today.
So is it true?
In terms of 10, 20, and 40 splits, vertical and 3 cone? I couldn't think of anything that matches this trio.
Can you? Has there ever been a team with more explosive speed at these 3 positions?
Not throwing stones, just curious. I wound up with 3 Boston bruins fans in my house, living in metro Boston when I grew up in CT and not a Bruins fan, and it pains me.
He didn't mention the players. I'm just guessing Barkley, Engram and Odell (RB, WR, TE)
Maybe Odell, Sterling and Saquon (RB, WR, WR)
OBJ 100 - 1400 - 8 TD
Shepard 80 - 1050 - 6 TD
Engram 75 - 1000 - 8 TD
Saquon 75- 700 - 3 TD receiving, 250- 1300 - 10 TD
If this happened, that means Eli had a very good year and we were moving the ball on most anyone we faced.
No. His bust is already in Canton.

Hahahahaha...you and these predictions of yours. That's 4150 yards passing to only 3 players. A very good year indeed. Jesus.
You can see that huh? ::eye roll::
Engram is one of the fastest TE ever.
Barkley has the 99% Sparq score and ran an elite time.
Beckham is Beckham.
All have elite verticals and splits.
I can't think of a more explosive group. The TE tilts it our way.

It is amazing to think about the potential. What is a Sparq score?
Rice, Jones, waters/Craig is another good one.
But if a poll was taken...
Emitt, Irvin, novacek would probably win.

In this universe, just how many passes per game does Eli throw? Because you are projecting 330 receptions by these four players alone. That's about 21 receptions per game, which would imply (based on Eli's historical completion rate of 60%) 35 passes per game just to these four guys.
TE Jones on 49ers isn't close to this class. Barkley more explosive then Craig too.
Irvin and Novacek vs Beckham and Engram? I'd take our guys as straight up football players. About speed and explosion? Not close. NYG in a landslide.
WR, TE, RB? That's the trio that can attack a field in many ways. Never before, has an NFL team had a more explosive group.

I'm very excited for this season to start.
I wonder about the age of a lot of BBI posters.
A lot of them don't seem to have the smarts of your 11-year-old. Their posts suggest that they are either prepubescent, or just dumb as door knobs.
As for the most explosive Giant: that has to be JPP hands down (or hands up or off). ;-)
Barkley is in rare company with his score.
Lattimer is also a guy with a high Sparq score. He’s a big WR who can run and jump.
If OL holds up Giants will be a top scoring offense.
Saquon hasn't even played a down in the league yet.
Odell is special. He just needs to stay healthy.

2100 all purpose yards for Barkley in his rookie year.
You can see that huh? ::eye roll::
ummm..... use a calculator or an iphone next time?
I believe that many of those who voice such negativity about our QB will be eating crow by midseason. As far as the skill position players no other team in the NFL has a triplet that can score on any given play. Manning is going to flourish under Shurmur and when it happens many will have to admit they were wrong. Only it doesn't matter because it is the wins that count.
I am looking forward, and will just rejoice on the teams success.

but can we maybe let Barkley play a few downs in the NFL first?
No. His bust is already in Canton.
Actually, they inducting his quads, not his bust!
Faulk, Holt, Bruce and Akeem... plus Faulk was basically the best pro rb over the last 20 years so until Barkley actually does it we give Faulk the edge in terms of Nfl athletic ability...
Gisnts have a shot to be special but these players have to be on the field together and do it first...

Minor criticism but LaDainian I think is the best pro back of the last 20 years, Fault is second. There's not a significant gap, but there is a gap.
Honestly the Browns, yes the Browns, have to be excited with what they have at the skill positions. They drafted Nick Chubb, have Jarvis Landry, Josh Gordon, an explosive but oft injured Corey Coleman, and a very athletic TE who may come into his own in his sophomore year in David Njoku.
And in terms of explosiveness, Kareem Hunt, Tyreek Hill, and Travis Kelce has to get a mention.
Kelce and Hill are certainly explosive. Hunt is a tough runner but not very explosive. 4.6+ doesn't measure up to Barkley.
This.
My condolences.

::snores:: I guess misreading the 1300 for 1400 as far as rush yards predicted qualifies for that snarky comment that had nothing to do with you.
Fine, 2000 all purpose for his rookie year. Eat me MAB.
QB - Dan Fouts - Pro bowl
RB - Chuck Muncie - Pro Bowl
WR - Wes Chandler - Pro Bowl in 8 games 49-1032 9 TD's
TE - Kellen Winslow - Pro Bowl
Fouts, Chandler and Winslow were 1st team All Pro Muncie was 2nd
And if Eli plays well, what will you say?

The same people predicting Madden numbers for all the players on the team will say that those players let Eli down and the oline was trash and Mara and DG need to go because they ruined Eli
And if Eli plays well, what will you say?
I will say that he proved he can still play at a high level. Am not going to shy away from given props when they are earned. But I wont be given out passes
