Would you accept a free trip to the Bahamas ...

... in a contest or promotion of any type from a rival of the NYG if you lived in their region (ie, Redskins, Cowboys, Eagles)?

That’s hypothetical question #1.

Hypothetical #2 - If someone you know - who is a fan of a team other than the one offering the promotional trip - accepted such a trip, would you give them at least good-natured shit about it? If so, how MUCH shit?

I'd be ok with that. Call it reparations for bad memories each have created over a lifetime of watching Giants football.

Yeah I'd rib a friend who accepted such an offer but probably not too bad.

For #2, The only way I would give them shit is if they didn't take the free trip.

If you have the idea that accepting a free trip from a team other than yours makes you an unfaithful fan, you need to reevaluate your priorities in life.

Why would I care about who was paying for my free trip? I mean, if it was a hate group or something I'd probably turn it down. But while I "hate" Danny Snyder and Jerry Jones, I'd be delighted to let them pay to send me on vacation.

Will I have to publicly renounce by Giants allegiance? Will I have to wear a jersey of the opposing team to show my support? Will I be featured on a team website as a long time and die hard Redskins/Cowboys/Eagles fan?

I don't know if I could do those things.
