We still have one open roster spot.

In addition, Saquon Barkley, B.J. Hill, and R.J. McIntosh remain unsigned.

McIntosh would want to be under contract with his medical issues. May the Giants are trying to put qualifiers in the contract in case he can't play

I thought rookie contracts are basically predetermined

based on draft position. Seems like a huge risk for these guys to take by practicing without a contract.

There is a waiver process in place in the event a draft pick got hurt before signing their contract. They still get paid even if they can't play.

I love reading comments from people here saying I expect or I know or they will when they have no idea what is going to happen.
It makes for a fun read. The expertise is phenomenal. I always wonder why they are posting on here and not at some NFL camp.

and he has never publicly said he is not playing without a new contract. He wants a new contract and he has probably earned it, but he is under contract for this year.

to FS, playing centerfield is different than roving at SS and be deployed downhill.
