If it's not too late and the boys are still on site, on their last day buy them a nice lunch spread, or a few pizzas. (Few brews optional if boss says OK) It's a nice gesture for a job well done.
All I ask is three beers a piece for each of my co-workers...I think a man workin' outdoors feels more like a man if he can have a bottle of suds. That's only my opinion.

Turned on the tv last night and that scene was on. Great movie

Same here, I watched it too. Even on TV it's still good.

I have watched that movie more times than any other. It never gets old.
it was always appreciated when the homeowner provided coffee and bagels or doughnuts. In the summer months when we finished up and were back at the garage, we'd have a couple beers.
Ask the owner if he prefers coffee and doughnuts or buy them beers friday afternoon
i know the contractor family friend, i asked him about his guys, he always told me if one or 2 days you buy them lunch that is fine dont tip them cash...
so i just bought them lunch a ciuple of times a week...
for my floors it was two workers so i tipled them..
Appreciate the feedback. It had been a 71/2 week job and the wife and I have coffee, donuts, pastries and bottled water for the taking every day. Even a microwave to heat up if necessary. Seems like we did our part.
One contractor that I use regularly replaced my garage door. During the process, he cleaned and organized my whole garage which wasn't part of the job. He wouldn't take any extra money for it, but I insisted on giving him an extra $100.
always tip. Large piles of cash are the best. Second best thing you can do is refer me to nice people and not your dickhead work acquaintances.
Offering my guys drinks or snacks is a great way to ensure they will go the extra mile for you as well.
I have a client now who is nitpicking my painter to death BUT customer is a good guy, makes his opinion clear, and therefore makes it easy to happily take care of every request.
#1 Rule is just be nice and be honest and you should get the same treatment back. Kind of works in all areas.
YOu can buy the workers lunches
I know me and my crew appreciate it!!
Turned on the tv last night and that scene was on. Great movie

Handy-man work? Eh... only if you want to and if they did a very nice job, were personable, finished quickly, etc.
