Hi. I recently did a repositioning cruise on Viking and it was great. I would compare them to both Oceania and Regent.
Rooms are nice but not tons of storage space. Bathrooms are the best with a full size shower and heated floors. The ship itself is beautiful. So many places to read and relax in piece. Food is good. The Italian specialty restaurant was excellent. Since evryone's taste in food differs I wont go further then that. Entertainment was very good level and they had excellent speakers. I have done about 16 cruises across the globe if that input is helpful. Enjoy!
we did a Baltic capitals cruise. (St. Pete, Tallin, Copenhagen, Helsinki, Stockholm, etc.) We saved quite a bit because the ship departed from Dover, England and we didn't need the flight from CONUS. It was fantastic. A bit of an older crowd, which is to be expected, but the ship was excellent and the accommodations and food even better. It has been a few years, but reviews I read about Viking are usually very positive. It has my full endorsement.
