Not that it matters, but he was a liberal for most his young life and only began to “lean” right later on. I believe he worked for Carter, Mondale and Dukakis. He was sort of tolerated by both sides later on because he called it as he saw it, and didn’t care what others thought. But he was thoughtful in the way he approached any subject and didn’t spew vitriol like most all pundits do today.
But this thread isn’t for politics so let’s just give the man some respect.

It is really because people are so wrapped up in politics now thanks to social media. Most people did not care about any of this shit until their friends were putting it in front of them every day stirring up the hornets nest. They have been completely manipulated by their party (both) and they are too stupid to realize it.
Charles was a smart dude. So many accomplishments outside of politics.
In the next few years I will be moving to a quiet spot in Florida to spend the rest of my life chasing tarpon and snook without any concern for politics.

How do people know Krauthammer except by his political discourse?
A lot of people have said that personally he was a very warm and decent human being, but so what? Unless you were his friend, that matters very little. We know him because he's a celebrity and his celebrity is completely due to his political writing.
