I highly doubt you're right. He came of age as a Met. By the time he was a Yank he was a hired gun.
He pitched 7 seasons for the Mets, 6 for the Yankees. Won four titles with the Yankees, zero as a Met. Threw a perfect game as a Yankee. He works for the Yankees, not the Mets. I don't see any reason to think he feels more attachment to the Mets.
He came of age as a Met and (counting repeat teams) the Yanks were his 8th team. By that time he was a hired gun.
You and I can believe whatever we want, but only Cone can answer this question.
You don't think Cone values the Yankees the most of any team?
Can we work DeGrom this inning and get him out of the damn game? None of this six pitch inning shit! I know he's due to bat next inning but I wouldn't be surprised if they let him hit if they're not behind and his pitch count is still in good shape.

No I think he values his time with the Mets more. But as I've already stated, nobody but Cone knows what Cone thinks and what team he values the most.
I am a real traditionalist about almost everything, but I am sold on the DH. It makes for better baseball, instead of the pitcher being a virtual automatic out every time he comes up.
AL teams should refuse inter-league play until the NL adopts the DH like every other league in the world has done, with the exception of one of the Japanese leagues.
It's been Degrom and no one else this season. His teammates have all let him down.
Jake deserves better. Please trade him to a contender/real organization.
GIve Jake a damn pinstripe jersey and put him on the bus to the Bronx please.
Yup. This is Giancarlo's 22nd HR at Citi Field, the most by an opposing player there
He's been dynamite but I'd still be nervous to see him attempt multiple innings
Yes, anything above that orange line is a HR.
