Is anyone else getting sick and tired of this weather?? And it seems to rain every single weekend, don’t know what it is to have consistent nice weather
are just getting killed. Weekenders just haven't been showing up, and they don't have a huge number of weekends to earn cash. This is the third lost pre-summer weekend, and next weekend is supposed to be only slightly warmer. With the ocean cold this time of year, it's a lot cooler than in NYC. 7-10 degrees cooler a lot of the time.
I rarely like spring on the East End anyway--cool and damp. But much worse this year.
Btw, the tree and grass pollen and mold spores think it's lovely.
one of the reasons I moved to Florida almost 12 years ago.
Funny, that’s the reason I left Florida. Way too hot and humid. Throw in the hurricanes...no thank you.
That's why those of us who settled in the Carolinas are called "halfbacks" - halfway back to NY/NJ where we came from. Best of both worlds; four seasons yet an agreeable climate year round (golf 12 months and don't have to take the boat out of the lake in the winter).
Of course 1/2" of snow will close the county down. :)

I settled in Maryland, I’m quite happy. But I love the Carolinas and North Carolina could certainly be another destination down the road.
