Thought it started Monday. Nope. Started today. Cyberpunk 2077 new trailer dropped today. Looks amazing. They had a teaser like 5 years ago. Made by the same company that made The Witcher 3.
Might be the last year where they focus on current gen platforms.
Cyberpunk 2077 is what I’m waiting for.
Anthem looks interesting too but its EA so I am expecting 10 DLCs and lootboxes...in other words not getting my hopes up...and fuck EA.
Skyrim - ( New Window )
Cyberpunk 2077 - ( New Window )
Elder Scrolls VI - ( New Window )
Fallout: 76 - ( New Window )
Cool that Bethesda is working on Elder Scrolls 6 and a sci-fi single player space RPG, but no idea when those games will come out. Fallout 76 looks BLAH. Would be cool if Square could show some progress on the FF7 remake or announce another game that looks interesting. Never been a Kingdom Hearts fan.
They've said that there's an emphasis on "building." IMO the Minecraft type of base building was the worst part of Fallout 4. Just not the type of game that appeals to me.
I'm not mad at Bethesda though. Starfield and Elder Scrolls 6 should be the single player type of RPGs that I like. Hopefully at least one of them can come out within 12 months.
I can get a copy for $17.99 at GameStop, and it looks like a good RPG.

I'm very interested in this game. I'm going to play it on Switch, as I don't think my home laptop has the processing power for new PC games.

I love the Fallout series, and was really looking forward to a new entry, but I am just not a fan of online multiplayer. Having packs of screeching 12 years olds running around trying to kill my me while I work on completing a quest doesn't seem all that appealing to me.

I think during the presentation they had mentioned Starfield and Elder Scrolls are being developed for next-gen consoles. If that is the case then we won't see them for 2 years at a minimum, the next gen consoles haven't even been announced yet.
Gears Of War 5 - ( New Window )
Halo Infinite - ( New Window )
Halo needs to come up with something new. The series has been beaten to death and I’m not sure how excited I am for it. Time will tell.
But I play that exclusively with my brother and brother-in-law on a private server.
I tried it public when they weren't available, but all the griefing and N-bombs killed the fun.

Yeah. It's excellent. As is the sequel.
Perhaps stuck a bit too much in the past, but that may be a good thing depending how nostalgic you are for BG2.
I think Pillars 2 did a good job pushing forward.

Haven't played yet because my backlog is big enough, but by all accounts it's a top end RPG and it's made by Obsidian and they are money when it comes to RPGs
