From the last couple OTAs and today, it seems like Hernandez and Omameh have settled into the LG/RG positions. IIRC, the first few OTAs they were getting reps at both spots with the 1st/2nd string OLs.
Also, from the beat writers tweets at OTAs and today, it seems like Flowers has taken every snap with at 1st team RT. Could be good (he's settling in) or bad (our depth sucks) or nothing (no pads yet).
RE: Matching up Barkley on an ILB is just wrong. Â
for starters, you're first several tweets were basically all focused on Odell. Seemed like trying to start a story where none existed.

Wait...what? I've been firmly in the Giants should Odell extend camp all offseason. Where do you get the impression that I "have a bug up my ass about Odell?"
But then again, using Dr. Chao as an authority on Odell's medicals probably tells us all we need to know.

It's important to get as many reps as possible. It IS a position change and there's a lot involved in changing sides that has to become instinctive. I'm pretty sure he's never played the right side before. I don't think what team he works with matters at this point though.

I agree with that to an extent. But at OTAs you saw Omameh getting 1st team reps at LG and (IIRC) 2nd team reps at RG. You've also seen Halapio/Jones splitting 1st team reps at C, though Halapio at least appears to have passed him on the depth chart recently (FWIW).
But I don't recall anyone else getting any 1st team reps at RT which hopefully means Flowers is showing he can handle the change, at least as much as you can without pads. Maybe (ok, probably) I'm reading too much into it, but if Flowers' was struggling with his technique in OTAs/MC I think Wheeler would get at least a few snaps since communication with the other OL is also critical.

I was poking fun at the Odell hysteria with those mundane updates. So who, in fact, has the bug up their ass??

I guess I mistook tweets like this as poking fun of the situation:

There are so many layers to the Odell Beckham contract situation. I tackled all of them thanks to the tremendous insight of @corryjoel, @JoeBanner13 and @ProFootballDoc: http://bit.ly/2LEMXjC
Especially quoting the medical opinion of Dr. Chao and links to your article in The Atlantic in a few tweets.
Some practice notes: 1. Seemed like more time spent on install than some of the OTAs; lot of walk-through periods. 2. Evan Engram lined up all over, with many snaps in the slot or split wide. 3. Barkley toasted BJ Goodson on a wheel route. 4. Lot of time spent on screens.
Lot of time spent on screens.
I like this...and to get good at something, sometimes you need to put in the extra effort.
The Giants have been terrible at the screen game, and it's been a combination of things. But I think the number one reason is the lack of practice time on it.
Shurmer's time with Andy Reid certainly has something to do with this. Whenever announcers talked about their practice sessions with Reid, it was always emphasised the amount of time they practiced the screen game.
With athletic linemen now, hopefully, and a stud like Barkley the Giants need to execute this to their advantage.

Barkley v Kuechly would be fun!

Bold prediction: We will score 30 this year!

Agree and the whole Cardinal Org. for doing that, as well.

Minicamp is underway at #QuestDX and the QBs are airing it out today! Big catches by Lewis, Etta-Tawo and Bundy! 🎯🎯🎯
Same Bundy that once score 4 td's in one game?
