Haven't read too much about this WR who transferred from Maryland and spent a year with Syracuse.
One of the beats mentioned him as a "name to watch" in a tweet today, so I checked out Etta-Tawo's highlights on YouTube.
Of course everyone's highlights look great, but his YAC and nose for the end zone look pretty impressive.
Anyone else think Etta-Tawo has a chance to make this team?

Unfortunately, I watch a lot of Syracuse football and Nick's is exactly who he plays like.
Not nearly the same ceiling but same style.
They will carry five, possibly six WRs. My guess is five because I strongly suspect that they are heading for carrying four TEs. Also note that both Evan Ingram and Saquon Barkley can line up and function as wide outs, which really negates the need for 6 WRs on the roster. But they will almost certainly have one or two WRs on the PS in case somebody gets hurt badly during the season.
Beckham, Shepard, and Latimer are going to be the first three WRs. Roger Lewis still has the inside track for the fourth job due to his experience and proven special teams ability as a gunner. And Hunter Sharp seems to be emerging as the next guy. He has some experience and returns kicks and punts so that fulfills the special teams requirement.
That leaves Etta-Tawo fighting with everybody else left, some of whom have more pro experience than he does. So best guess is a realistic shot at the PS.
I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't make the final 53; not saying Etta-Tawo is better or will beat him out but Lewis doesn't wow me. That might be ok for your 5th body at WR since there are only so many bodies to go around with consistent hands.
The kid makes plays. It's as simple as that.
