FYI...
June 12, 2018 New York Giants Mini-Camp Report - ( New Window )
Was Holwell that huge guy who -

while standing next to Hernandez - made Hernandez look small in that picture that someone put up of the rookie class + UDFA?

They were on a stage I believe - was that Holwell?

I was rooting for him for his mass alone. Would have like to see what he could have done with some coaching. Oh well ..

Not sure what the rules are ... Any chance he has a shot at the practice squad?
Saquon

Vs BJ Goodson.... absolute no contest for Saquon.
Ogletree likes to use the phrase “for sure”

I didn’t count, but he ended almost every thought with “for sure”......like Rolle used to say “at the end of the day”......ahhhh
Who's Jon Halapio?

Just googled him but don't remember the signing. Is he expected to be starter over Brett Jones?

Write-ups of all of the guys are in the Roster analysis section. It appears that Halapio has moved ahead of Jones.

Yes, that is the guy.

They are not going to put someone on the PS who couldn't even stay on the 90 man roster.

Without contact, he must have moved ahead on footwork, snaps, and assignment recognition.
Halapio started a few games at guard at the end of the season

He played well but he is reportedly a much better fit at center. It would be a huge boost if Halapio can run away with the center job. That would go a long way in fixing the interior of the offensive line and allow Brett Jones to serve as a backup. I feel much better about the offensive line with Wheeler and Jones as the primary backups.
Halapio is a very, VERY muscular guy. If the size of his talent

even comes close to the size of his muscles, we have a solid starter.
