Much of the same on Day 2 of minicamp. Odell Beckham participating in some individual and non-contact drills. No live periods despite being cleared to practice. He's right now running some routes and catching passes with the quarterbacks.
He's doing exactly what everyone was saying was the plan for months.
ESPN in general is the epitome of malfeasance. I was watching their NFL show last night and the manufactured an entire story on OBJ even to the point of saying what was literally on his mind and in his head and what is in the Giants minds and in their heads. And everything was all calculated to be some sort of made up contract dispute that none of the principals have even mentioned. It was agenda driven with the story made up to match a made up drama for headline discussion. At least the football guys on the show (Brandt and Bruschi) tried to tamp down the hysterics, saying that this gradual approach is pretty normal for the return after injury and also with players at specific spots (e.g. WR's) and of a certain value, there is a lot of risk in them getting whacked, even accidentally, so early in the process. Of curse then the media lady shrieked, "Then why is even there? Why did he come to the show????!!!!". As if it's not his freaking job; it's not just a show for your benefit.

4. Giants used an empty backfield with Barkley in the slot and FB Shane Smith split wide. 5. Lorenzo Carter would have sacked Webb after coming off the edge unblocked. 6. Mentioned Kalif Raymond earlier. Had a long catch from Webb, another grab from Eli in team drills.
Yeah, I read about that but, 2 months? I wonder why they don't put him on some sort of "list"?
Maybe witnessing practice is a better learning experience than I know ... (serious thought - not trying to a wise guy).
Just what kind of "list" is there before camp even begins?
He will practice when his medical issue is resolved. Being there and doing the classroom stuff is important and he's not keeping player #91 from the team.....

NFI list (A similar list, known as the "non-football injury" (NFI) list, is functionally equivalent to PUP, but is used for players who are unable to practice as a result of conditions unrelated to football, or injuries that did not occur during a game or practice) .... I know camp did not begin but these are mandatory team activities.
Lol ... actually I don't even know why I want him on a list? If it doesn't matter to the Giants it doesn't matter to me.
