Two weeks after collapsing during a team workout and being hospitalized, Maryland football offensive lineman Jordan McNair died Wednesday. The Randallstown resident and McDonogh graduate was a redshirt freshman.

It seems like this happens to at least a few high school and college players every year. RIP. God bless.

Saying his rectal temp was 106. Heat stroke for sure. But who knows what medical conditions he had contributing to that.
Very sad and usually preventable stuff. Coaches and conditioning staff just don’t get Mother Nature.

Wow ... that is panic levels ... you are suppose to throw them in water and ice to force the temperature down at that point.
Very sad ... and it does seem to happen a few times every year.
