All kidding aside but they seem to go out of their way to draft the knuckleheads. Thing is Dallas scouts pretty damn well. I can at least appreciate their desire to get the best players at all cost but adding so much questionable character to a locker room has to impact things at some point, even if just a little. These suspensions add up...
if that is the guy I think it is (I watched a documentary series on Amazon Prime - One season was about Michigan and Jim Harbaugh and the other season was about the Cowboys) - he is a huge guy 6'7" or 6'8" and very athletic for his size. He should/could be a pro-bowler from what I saw but, can't stay away from the chemicals I guess.
On a televised interview ( that can be re-played on you tube) he said that he played EVERY GAME on some kind of drug..but it never affected his ability to play If LT was in the NFL today he would spend 1/2 of every season suspended.
Here we go with the LT stuff again. Can we just start a thread discussing LTs coke habit and pin it at the top so that whenever someone starts a thread on a random player in the NFL that gets suspended for drugs people can just take their urge to inexplicably bring up LT to that thread?
It was 30 years ago, people. Half this board wasn’t even alive yet when LT played. It’s time to let it go. It’s one of the weirdest things I’ve seen on this board.
In 2018 Irving gets handed a 4 games suspension for drugs. So what’s the discussion always lead to? “Yeah but, LT was a coke head in 1987. 1987, just think about that for a minute. At what point can we talk about current events without bringing up LT?

So we're comparing LT, who played on performance decreasing drugs 30 years ago, to a Cowboys player today.
Between todays NFL and the one LT played in. The Cowboys as an organization should know what the present rules are in regards to drugs...but it seems they cannot get through to their players like other teams for some odd reason. Then again if you are playing for JARRY you may be tempted to be on some kind of drug.

Not sure if "they cannot get through to their players" or it's something else. It might be that Jerrah refuses to take drug concerns as seriously as he should. He gambles that their performance will out weight and future issues.
Maybe Irving's 4 game suspension is OK with Jones in the long run???
Yes. Last year it was for PEDs. This year it is just plain drugs.
PEDs and plain drugs are treated separately. So even though this is his second instance, it is only considered a first time offense for each.
It's almost an annual event.
Amerka's Team: Always entertaining.
