"Very impressed," Shurmur told Giants reporters when asked about Webb's understanding of the Giants new offensive scheme. "During the dark days of our year, when there is no conversation as coaches, they (Webb and Manning) really embraced what we want to do."

Giant fans should be happy if this guy emerges. 23 year old QB, possible next franchise guy, to go along with Barkley, Beckham, Engram and Shepard...

Eli has stood up to a lot of negative crap over the years, especially being handicapped by a weak OL. Here he is now, a pretty good QB, and a guy who has taken to mentoring. Eli has set a positive and supportive tone in the QB group, and I think we will see both Webb and Lauretta grow in competence. The criticism of Webb about his QB play in college, should not be the deciding factor as to how good he will become. He, like Lauretta, is learning from the best. Honing one's skills and being prepared, damn sure affects positively making quick and decisive decisions on the field.

It is 24/7 sports as his source. An article written with a slant - check. Cherry picked quotes to support a conclusion - check. It is what 24/7 does. Webb is a late round pick with great size and a live arm, and he’s going to be groomed by one of the “QB friendliest” coaches in the league.
Giant fans telling other fans not to be optimistic about him and share with other fans when he garners praise from his coach is weird.
