Avery Moss

XBRONX : 6/16/2018 7:42 am
So I understand. Moss hurt his shoulder last season and did not have surgery, that we are aware of. He can't practice yet. My question is, did he have rehab for the last six months? If not why not and if he did and still cant practice sounds like the IR list.

All speculation at this point.

Bigger issue could be McIntosh. Was speculated that it was a thyroid condition, but now a "procedure" will be involved. What worries me is the Giants appear to not want to sign him until resolved. Red flag?
If we go with the best 53

I don't think either makes the roster...

That would really suck, to waste a draft pick like that.
Not sure how anyone here would be able to answer

details about Avery Moss' medical treatment plan.
Where does Moss fit in the new D?

Seems like the odd man out to me. Not trying to minimize his medical problems but I just don’t see much of a role in this defense

It happens every couple of years because a team physician notices something abnormal on the physical team gives after drafting a player. It is impossible for a team to give a physical to every potential draftee prior to the draft so they go by medical records, scouting combine physical, etc. A common issue is a previously unknown cardiac issue. Other times routine bloodwork will come back abnormal even in cases where at the combine everything was within normal limits.

McIntosh's thyroid issue was discovered during the combine however.

Still, if it's treatable he's worth a shot in the 5th round.
Link - ( New Window )
is this condition why he fell to the 5th round
CMicks3110 : 6/16/2018 7:30 pm : link
because on film, he looked a lot better than a 5th rounder, at least to my untrained eye

Re: McIntosh - The weird thing (from outside without having data) is why has McIntosh + NYG waited this long for the procedure. Pure speculation, but it would seem they wanted to something to get under control first.

Also Re: McIntosh -Thyriod could be a serious issue, something he has to deal with for his whole life. I totally want to see him on the field, but somethings are more important.

Re: Moss - Showed nothing significant yr1, is not a player this regime drafted, and has some off the field history. He's battling for a spot on the team and needs to get on the field.
