I think it's fair to say that OBJ is still VERY popular...

a few years ago Nickelodeon had a kids' choice awards tryout thing at the Giants practice bubble and I took my 2 sons there. They had a bunch of current and former players there (Wing, Jennings, Stephen Baker, Seubert, Snee, etc.) Odell came towards the middle of it and all the kids came flying over to him. He was wearing a Rugrats backpack and was having fun with the kids.

What stuck out to me was that he was down to Earth and looked like he enjoyed being there and was great with the kids even at times when I noticed the Nickelodeon cameras were NOT rolling. So it would have been easy for him to just do it for the footage, but he didn't.

After he stayed to take pictures with all the kids and every kid wanted to meet him. I've seen/met many players in the past, and some aren't the nicest guys around. Odell wasn't one of those guys.

He's part of the solution, and isn't a problem. He's just growing up a bit. Giants are fortunate to have him.

He’s got kind of that soccer player aura to him, where kids are drawn to him. I don’t know how to explain it but it’s like a level up famous from other athletes in U.S. sports.

Didn't see this video before he took a shot at Odell and Citi in his usual whiny column.

and see him paid accordingly, But if he is not the same player we have to adjust, just as he will have too. Just the way it is in NFL.
