Around a month ago my father was diagnosed with a severe case of Pneumonia. He fought extremely hard and clinically was making progress. Unfortunately, on Monday night his heart had enough and it was his time.

It is with a heavy heart to inform everyone that my father, Leon White, passed away on Monday night (6/18/18) at approximately 7:25pm.
never saw anything he did in Japan
Enzo : 6/20/2018 11:24 am : link
but his early 90s brawls with Sting and Foley were great.

Big man. Hall of fame lock. Sad and confused why they couldn't let him in while alive.

I thought he was, but he just inducted Stan Hansen.

He's a lock to get in now, but they should have done it last year, when it was apparent he wouldn't be around much longer.
Too bad

Met him a few times. Very nice guy.

Was he the first 400 pounder to perform a moonsault? I believe so. I mean Andre was extremely agile too in his youth but he wasn't doing moonsaults.

WWF wasted him. From the get-go too having Shawn Michaels, a dud face champ, eliminate him with 1 hand during Vaders Royal Rumble debut was stupid.
I thought he was already dead

He did moonsaults in his prime as a big guy. Ridiculous athlete, but I think he was past his best in WWF/E. He was really at his best in New Japan and his early WCW days

Oh man this sucks. They never seems to get this guy quite the right character. Almost a huge waste. Its like why couldnt they Fifure out a Kane-like character for him before Kane? His characters in the big leagues were always so pedestrian or corny
He announced he was terminally ill

When he was in WWF/E, yes. But before that (Japan, WCW) he was booked very well as an unstoppable monster heel
