On the mound, Johnny Lasagna faces off against the greatly diminished King Felix
Just read up on that Mets Rockies thread. I love arc as a poster. But there HAS to be some sort of initiation or tribute paid by him in order to justify his assimilation into our vaunted ranks right?
Or am I just being a jerk-off?
Here we go.
I think we had this discussion long ago, Phil... I don't know why I remember that, but I do. I should have just done the right thing back then.

He’ll take enough shit from the Mets-fan ranks for defecting. I’ll happily give him a ‘howdy’ and buy him a round.
Runner on 3rd with 0 or 1 out and not scoring will always drive me absolutely nuts. It has for as long as I've watched baseball.
It's so much easier to sit here and say it should be automatic. But the amount of times the ball isn't even put in play in those situations makes me crazy.
Resilient team and a lot of fun to watch. I'm enjoying the hell, out of them.
Now let's walk it off and win another series.
Ooouuuu. Tonight's gonna be a good night, tonight's gonna be a good night. Let's do this Yankees!
Helluva win and good for him.
We were talking about those "98 Yankees" wins the other night - this felt like one of them. Down 5-0, ya figure tonight's just one of those nights - not so fast. Holder keeps them in it, chip away, and then the explosion.
Stanton - 2-4, GW HR, 2 RBI, 1 run
Sanchez - 2-3, HR, 2 RBI, 1 run
"Oh, shit!" -the rest of the AL
Of course there is a lot of magical thinking in those suppositions but for now it feels good. And good to see Sanchez and Stanton get going

Good call. This is such a fun season!
And Twinkies leading the Sawx in the 7th 3-1...
Astros won again.

Sanchez - 2-3, HR, 2 RBI, 1 run

The lineup is just so long there's really no relief for opposing pitchers. We even got a nice double/run scored from Frazier in the 9 hole.
Holder comes up huge again tonight. His contribution shouldn't be overlooked.
