Sharp isn't a ringer but that team is full of them, loaded with 22-26 year old non prospects. Kingsport far, far more interesting.
Quote:
I wouldn’t consider Brian Sharp a ringer, but he was 0 for 4 with RBI and BB

For sure, but that is usually the case when we go overslot for a college reliever
Guy I spoke to was RAVING about Newton. Said Moreno's first outing he threw the hardest pitch of Met arm this season.
Is Dan
Starting to crack??
Reds old timers team?

and Jose Moreno, hearing these are 2 to keep your eye on.

Hey I call it like I see it. I'm not playing some character where I love trashing the Mets. It may come off that way because things are mostly ugly but when someone tells me off the record xyz looks good or good reports I'm all about it.
The Columbia pitchers showed well. Villines got a Hold, and Trey Cobb pitched 2/3 of an inning to close it out. Joe Cavallaro started the game, but gave up a first inning run. Good thing the 9.00 ERA doesn't count against his minuscule regular season numbers.
I didn't follow this game live. Brit Floyd was playing in our Performing Arts Center, and they brought the whole truckload of gear....Amps, Lights, and all. Good Show !!
Bullpen only. Jeff P thinks he's a middle reliever. Metsblog posed him as a fast mover but the Mets decided to put him in BK so if you see him before second half 2019 it would be a shocker.
