I agree Stanton is about tear. The joy he had on his face last night was so great. Mike Axisa summed it up so well

Even watching guys like German or Johnny Lasagna pitch is really fun too with a record like this.. this is VERY special, I would not mess with it at all. Yeah those 2004-07 offenses were excellent. They lacked pitching
2007 Jorge had an MVP caliber year, Cano, Matsui, Giambi, Abreu all had good seasons. That was a great offense

Still, it's pretty amazing that the Yankees' highest scoring lineup since the late '30s had a 1B rotation consisting of Doug Mientkiewicz, Andy Phillips, Miguel Cairo, and Josh Phelps.
