check out a couple of Lebanese Restaurants. I don't know names, but there are several quite close to where you are staying. Also, on the Left Bank and other neighborhoods, there will be lots of informal cafes that are great for lunch/brunch.
on rue de sieni. Best leg of lamb I have ever eaten, and it's not even close. There was another lunch spot with really good burgers and desserts that I cannot remember. It was a guy's name but I am blanking.
Which is a beef stew that is incredible, then go to Aj Bourguignon du Mariais.
It’s fantastic.
Also very close to the Louvre is Paris’s best pastries shop. It’s called Angelina’s. It awesome. Best you will find. Go before 10 am or it will be packed (Parisians love to have mid morning coffee/pastries around this time) will be line out the door.
Comptoir de la Gastronomie is about 10 blocks away. Â
It’s Paris, you can’t help but stumble into good restaurants. Whatever you do, just don’t go into a Paul store and grab pastries there. Even the breakfast croissants at most hotels beat most anything Stateside.
From what I remember, L’Astrance lunch was the most accessible (ie not over 200 euro pp) among all the Michelin restaurants.

the other place is called Paul Bert, great little lunch spot. They have some deal during the week for lunch. I don't remember it specifically but it was pretty cheap.

Agree with these. Not far from Notre Dame.
(I learned that from a Travolta movie ... hmmm if he isn't the better actor he may be the more educational one?).
