I can't link or post, but the gist of it is that he's being mentored by John Carney. Carney speaks highly of him and I thinks he's a more refined kicker this year.
The article reinforces the idea that it often takes young kickers a few years to adapt and references plenty of examples of young kickers cut or traded by the Giants having success after they left the Giants. i.e. Stover, Mare, Bryant, McManus and Boswell.
I'm certainly routing for him as he has a big leg and last year, as a whole, the team sucked.
Although to be fair, there were some quotes from last year that the Giants coaching staff liked to have their kickers kick high and short of the goal line to limit the kickoff returns of opposite teams. Rosas did a good job with that with only a 20.5 yard kickoff average on 32 returns. Which was among the best in the NFL last year.
