People speculate. When Aaron Hernandez was originally a person of interest reports were police did not consider him a suspect. That changed fast. In this case JJ was no where near home. Ease up on the people who were thinking JJ was involved it’s called human nature.
But the fact it happened on Jackrabbit's property... it's still not 100% certain he wasn't involved somehow, right? And by involved I just mean like had knowledge of it and participated in the cover up or something... Or can we be sure now that he is free and clear?

He's been in Florida for 2.5 weeks...how involved could he be?

No, I read that. And no, it can't be good for JJ having his brother being arrested. Not blaming JJ at all, but it has to affect him.

Of course it will affect him unless he and his brother have been estranged and even then it might. But at least he’ll be in our Secondary..😎
The crime of manslaughter doesn't necessarily have to Â
center around intent. You can get charged with it simply by doing something that a reasonable person would know could cause injury or death.
A murder charge may be more appropriate here but if there's limited evidence the prosecutor is going to go with the charge with the lower standard of conviction. He can still get at least 20 years.

If there was limited evidence at this time don’t you think they would have held off on charging him? They clearly have a solid picture of what went down and his involvement (or think they do). Maybe they figure a murder charge would draw too much public scrutiny given the facts at hand, and figure an aggravated charge gives them enough leverage to force a plea to simple manslaughter 8-12?
Because janoris is brother did something stupid and horrendous everybody's gotta stop putting the blame on janoris until all the facts come out it's becoming ridiculous
Why JJs attorneys have advised him not to travel back to New Jersey? I mean that makes me a little nervous not going to lie.
Hypothetical: If JJ is taken in for an interview, he may say something by mistake that could get his brother into more trouble or even involve himself.

The job of an attorney is to protect the client. Allowing him to set a foot back in that house as the owner of that house exposes him to be dragged into this even if he had zero involvement.

the impact on Rabbit, his psyche, concentration etc
I think part of Apple's issues last year was him Mom, especially in light of her medical illness, surgery etc
Everyone handles things differently. Eli Apple was a 21 year old child who was going through issues with his mother and father. Jenkins is 29 years old and has been through a lot more adversity off the field. Some self-inflicted, some not.

Limited evidence in terms of proving premeditation. But yes, if they're charging him this early then it would indicate that there's already strong evidence available.

Pro athletes are usually well behind the curve in terms of life experience. Their entire life has been about specializing to make it to the pros. Think about how many stories you've heard of athletes going broke because of needing to hire people to manage their lives for them, or having no concept of managing finances.

The only thing funny about this is the comments claiming vindication for not jumping the gun yesterday, as though the news today finalizes everything and there are/will be no new facts revealed.
I think there is still so much of this story to be time for any one side of the debate to claim victory.

Al Capone was in Florida during the St. Valentine's Day Massacre. Coincidence?
it wasn't really Jenkins' property...he has rented the house for two years and supposedly a lot of people come and go, especially during the offseason...

It's weird to even take sides over this. We don't know much of anything.

If his name is on the lease, it kind of is. If you're renting a house and someone you allowed to stay there tears it up, who's responsible?

I’ve been on vacation so I’m kinda catching up on everything but I agree with this.
JENKINS in custody in Ontario Co., NY. Investigation ongoing, unable to release further info. Charges merely accusations. Defendant presumed innocent.
Clue me in, what was prematurely speculated?

I’m guessing that intent will be too hard to prove and that they think they can prove an argument escalated, he attacked and went too far.

Curious. Going to be interesting to find out what happened. One would think it is hard to get strangled and have it be manslaughter.

Or maybe there were cameras all around the house and the whole thing is on video?

Hmm I wonder what his reason for trying to out of the country could be?
