This is the first Giants season since 1925 - i.e., the first and only Giants season - that my Dad, who brought me to my first game in 1956, won't be here to watch his team and to share the excitement.
He was one of the first, and one of the best, Giants fans ever.
Rest in peace, Dad. We will watch the G-men this year, but, man - it won't be the same.
Watching the team will be good for you, help keep your relationship alive.
Meanwhile, take good care of yourself.
We attended the final three '58 games too. What a show!
My dad died on Dec. 26, 1974 at age 69. I miss him still.
My condolences Jim...
Rest in Peace
And we can not cease to mourn without being robbed of our affections....
I was thinking the same thing mrvax.
My condolences to you and your family Jim. Cherish the memories ...
Big Blue for life.
