It's not an exaggeration to say James Dolan selling the New York Knicks is the sports story that would excite me the most, and I mean out of ANYTHING. I've been fortunate to see Yankees and Giants championships, but the Knicks have been my cross to bear as a sports fan.
Does he get an ounce of enjoyment out of owning the Knicks? Poor Jimmy. So sick of his hangdog face sitting courtside - you can tell he's a drain on everyone in the building. I seriously fucking hate the guy.
It was right after the Oakley disaster - "Quick, wire $500K to every former Knick you can locate and have them sit next to me at the next home game! I love these guys!"
They'll just be a separate entity from the venue side of the business. It's essentially the same thing MSG did when they spun off the networks side of the business.
RE: He's spinning the teams off, not selling them. Â

The speculation is he wants to sell the teams separately and retain ownership of the venue side of the business. But nobody really knows.
I thought he was a great owner in the financial sense I love him owning the Knicks and thought it was just a matter of time before he turned the curve and become Steinbrenner lite..
Oh well
Maybe he will but the Mets and buy them some pennants

You're right, that is the speculation. Which is different from what I posted.
Even worse - Michael Jordan

If you’re referring to the 5th picture, that’s Olivia Wilde.
Loria doesnt have anywhere near the amount of money to buy the Knicks
