I liked his approach all night and even though he was punched out on a ball he never hung his head. Came back with some nice AB's and his swing looks like it's coming around.
They're up 7 runs. He needs to get straightened out and up by this much is the perfect time for him to get in there. Plus with Gray going tomorrow why use anyone else who might be needed tomorrow?
At least he can hold a 7 run lead. So, that's something to build off of, I suppose.

I was only kidding about Shreve. Interestingly, he threw mainly 93 mph fastballs and only a few splitters. I think he got one whiff on the split and the rest were balls.
