This is like asking what the best brand of liverwurst is.

Bateman is close though.

It is a Netflix series - that he is also producing and has directed multiple espisodes.

Never would have thought he could have turned out something of this quality (IMHO). He really has grown/matured as an artist, Rudd is good also ... but, on the merits of "Ozark" alone - I have to go with Bateman.

but he won me over in the Gift and Ozarks, especially since he’s talented behind the camera. Rudd is a good, fun dude but is nowhere near as skilled even though I “like” him more.

If not for Arrested Development alone. He shows great range in Ozark as well.

Rudd plays the same guy every time.

He has more range and experience. Rudd is a 1-trick pony.

Is the better actor but it think Rudd is funnier.

Although Rudd gets bonus points for being in Halloween 6.

Bateman was awesome in Bad Words. That movie was hilarious. I love Paul Rudd and he’s funny as hell, but it’s Bateman all day long.

And Batemen would suck in many Rudd rolls. I think the analysis would be to look at what rolls we think either could have played and who would have played it better.

I think Rudd was better choice for “ This is 40”. And I think Batemen was better for “ Arrested Development”. But I think it would be tough to say who would have been the better Kunu in “ Forgetting Sarah Marshall”.

I'm not sure what a Bateman or Rudd roll would taste like but I'm sure both of them would eat them instead of sucking them in, no matter how many we're talking about. ;)
