I'm in IT for a sizable national health care company. IT was hit with a demand from mgmt 6 months ago to cut budget by 15% and couple months later told '19 budget starting 7/1 would be cut by 20%. Two weeks ago IT laid off somewhere around 15% of staff.
We're being told We're not alone and revenues vs projections are way down for all health care companies. Could be I have no idea. Anybody work for or follow the sector at all? Is this widespread? Or did management screw up?
