Fun highlight to watch
Eli had so much time to throw and Nicks was incredible.
The Packers were the first 15-1 team to be one and done in the playoffs in NFL history.
The roughing the passer penalty on Osi leading to a TD was an awful call making thew game closer than it should have been.
Enjoy...
Giants @ Packers 2011-12 playoff - (
New Window )
The regular season game, Giants vs. Packers in 2011 was even worse! Worst reffed game I've ever seen.
Yup. For whatever reason, the Giants had to beat both the Packers and the refs. I was overjoyed when they won.
Osi had those moments for turnovers....
Was that Bill Levy doing that game?
That and the bullshit roughing on Osi in the 4th Q
yeah
Found myself watching the NFC championship highlights after as well & Cruz had himself a game. Turnover city during that slopfest.
Still want to know how a play could be reviewed, the game go to a commercial and when they come back, the head ref was allowed to reverse the decision of replay.
An absolute embarrassment

Sums it up nicely. They REALLLLY wanted the team with the best record in football and most popular QB to move on to the next round.

PR Aaron Ross was the mvp of that game. Zero chance of returning for long yards, but the way the defenses were playing 2nd half and OT, whoever f'd up first loses.
Referees/NFL 14
bingo...
He made sure the Giants wouldn't win anything with him as OC/HC

I never really thought of the NFL as rigged, watching that game changed that entirely for me. I’m not suggesting there was an absolute mandate that the Packers won that game, but it sure seems that there was a league order that any opportunity to give the packers even the slightest advantage was to be met. Really seemed like the NFL wanted Brady vs Rodgers that year. The Giants dominated that game, if not for those calls we might have been looking at a 2000 Vikings type route.
I know the NFL is inconsistent with calls, and I blame that on the league not the refs. But that game felt like the rules were just changing to favor the Packers. One of the real, genuine satisfying wins as a fan.

Wouldn’t be surprised, even subconsciously biased. The Packers were the 15-1 darlings of the NFL and Rodgers the fellatee
