Bigger issue is he's an awful defensive player so as a PH or if the NL had a DH you could almost squint and see if but if you can't play the field it's tough.
Below average arm actually. Poor reads, good straight line speed but doesn't take good routes. Hard to really blame him for this one but from just last night

Athletic, fast for a big guy, must have a cannon arm, no?

Yikes! That was bad.
Shecky, you must know something I don't lol
...ill just leave that there.

Good for Harv. I wish him well. He wasn't going to make it back with these Mets.
Wanted to see your thoughts.

Tough call given we don't even know his limit for this year. Also was up and down in Columbia. If he finishes strong then it's not crazy to believe we could see him next year but that's if he pitches well. He missed bats but was also pretty hittable.

You gonna spill it?
I'm curious too because I haven't heard/seen anything interesting today.
Catcher: -8
Second Base: -16
Shortstop: -13
Center Field: -1 (though -7 discounting the injured Juan Lagares)
Yikes that's awful.
A new starter did not debut today. Spill the beans already.
It's kind of strange when a guy goes 1-2 and that lowers his batting average.
Throw some very mi or info later
9 days and counting
A bit sore, but happy to throw after a big scare between UCL and Hammy

Yoenis Cespedes, who has been out since mid May w/ a hip injury & had been waiting for soreness to subside, finally began a running program yesterday, per MC. Ran at 75%.
Noah Syndergaard (finger) threw a 50-pitch sim game in Port St. Lucie & next step is likely a rehab game.
I haven't seen Tebow in years, except by choice.
Give him credit. He didn't play baseball since high school and he has a .732 OPS at AA. Compare that to Micheal Jordan who had a .556 OPS at AA. They both were the same age. It shows you how freakish an athlete he is and how hard he works. Of course he can't play the field and has a 36.4% K rate. He is not a major league player. But he is doing way better than I thought was possible. And yes, given how desperate the Mets will be to sell tickets in the fall he is a definite potential call up. If he was hitting .190 then even they couldn't justify it but he is doing enough where they can do it without it being a total mockery. It would just be a somewhat mockery.
and there was a time I felt like Reyes was the most exciting player in the game. He did not age well.

Shecky,
Happen to know anything about this kid Oscar Rojas? None of the usual suspects have anything to say about him so I assume he's just an advanced strike thrower (he's only 5'11) but 2 walks over 44 career innings is pretty eyepopping.
